The world famous left-handed golf tournament W.A.L.G 2024 is held in Vietnam

For the first time, Vietnam is hosting an international tournament for the left-handed golfer community around the world “W.A.L.G World Championship”. The 28th tournament will be held in Danang, Vietnam from April 8-12, 2024.

The tournament is exclusively for the world’s left-handed golfer community.
Established in 1979, the W.A.L.G Tournament is organized by the World Left-Handed Golfers Association with the purpose of promoting, encouraging and promoting golf, especially golfers
left-hand worldwide.
The tournament was held in 15 different countries with the participation of the left-handed golfer community from more than 20 countries such as Australia, England, Scotland, Canada,
U.S.A., New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan, Sweden, France, Germany, Ireland, Hong Kong,…
The first World Championship was held in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia in March 1979. It was in Sydney during this tournament that the idea of forming the Association of
world left-handed golf was discussed and agreed upon for the first time. To date, the World Championships have been held in the following countries: Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Ireland, Japan,Japan, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, USA, Scotland, Turkey and South Africa.
The W.A.L.G World Championship is played in the Stroke play format over 4 rounds. In addition to the World Champion table, there will be expanded tables including Senior Champion (over 60 years old) starting in 1981, Lady Champion starting in 1993, and Super Senior Champion (over 70 years old) starting in 2002.

• Audience: 300 left-handed golfers and right-handed guests
• LEFT HAND GOLFER: Stroke-play competition of 4 rounds of 72 holes including Tables:

  • Senior Table (60+)
  • Super Senior Board (70+)

• RIGHT HAND GOLFER: Stableford scoring competition includes the following tables:
  • Right-hand table
  • Super Senior Board (70+)

Prize:
• Cups for First, Second, and Third places in Stroke-play groups

• Solve the shot closest to the flag
